Sale of VLCC vessel for recycling ends up with 512 days without scrapping

The sale for recycling of superhighship Sam, a Very Large Crude Carrier (VLCC) of 300,500 tpm and almost 25 years of service, ended the third longest unscathed streak of such ships, which lasted 512 days, they reported from Bimco. The last recycled VLCC was the Watban of 300,361 tpm, in June 2019, in Bangladesh.
